On September 1, 2022, the Bureau unanimously decided to set the bids deadline to January 1, 2023, as our plenary is in early March, not in late January or early February. The information was shared with a few people. 

On September 19, in a News reminding organisers to bid, December 1st was announced as the deadline. No one saw the mistake.

The Bureau apologises profusely. We understand that some organisers had their minds set on January 1st to bid. Hence, the Bureau is adjusting the bid deadline to January 1, 2023.

So far, we have received bids for these World championships:

• Paragliding XC in Andradas - Minas Gerais, Brazil.  September
• Paragliding Accuracy in Taldykorgan - Tekeli, Kazakhstan. June Kazakhstan
• Hang Gliding Class Sport in Laveno - Monbello, Italy. June
