CIVL Plenary 2019 has voted to make changes to the calculation principles of Ta parameter in WPRS for PG Accuracy and Hang Gliding. According to standard procedure, all changes voted on the Plenary in February should become effective May 1st, 2019.

In this case, though we came across a problem that implementing new Ta change significantly the ranking on the eve or in the middle of the allocation process for some category 1 events. Having accessed the situation the CIVL Bureau took a decision to postpone the implementation of the new Ta till July 1st, 2019. The main concern of the decision was to maintain fairness and conduct pilots selection according to the same ranking they abide in their run for FAI Category 1 events of 2019.
