The FAI and Breitling are pleased to announce the FAI World Championships events selected for full Breitling branding and support for 2014.

This year the focus is on a smaller number of events and an increased emphasis on supporting the events and creating a great image of these events which will benefit the events themselves, the FAI and Breitling.

We are pleased to announce that  events selected for 2014 are:

• The 5th FAI World Sailplane Grand Prix Gliding Championship, to be held over the period 9 to 16 May in Sisteron, France
• The 11th FAI World Advanced Aerobatic Championships, to be held over the period 7 to 16 August in Dubnica nad Vahom, Slovakia
• The 2nd FAI Junior World Hot Air Balloon Championship + 58th Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett, which will  be held over the period – 28 August – 6 September in Vichy, France

As an additional event we are planned to also have a Breitling branded Aeromodelling event.

These selected events represent the core aviation interest of Breitling, especially with the Ballooning and Aerobatic championships. The FAI Sailplane Grand Prix and the Aeromodelling events also have particular interest for Breitling with their emphasis on spectator involvement and emphasis on precision and accuracy.
