The 2nd FAI Asian Oceanic Paragliding Championships open the door to non-continental pilots. On April 20, 2024 the placement of continental pilots will be finished and guest pilots will be invited to pay and confirm the participation. There may be about 20 free places to distribute. Any pilot in the world will be accepted if he is eligible to compete, paid the entry fee and has NAC approval with valid FAI License. The eligibility criteria are very accessible: the pilot must be within the top 1500 World PG XC ranking or have received 20 WPRS points for any single comp during the period from April 2022 to March 2024.

The event will be held in Mungyeong, Korea on June 5-16, 2024. The place is a famous XC flying site in Korea. The take-off allows launches in any wind direction. It offers a variety of interesting XC routes. The organizers also prepare fascinating social events and very tasty (restaurant-style) lunch packs.
