16th FAI Paragliding European Championship will be held in Nis-Pantelej, Serbia on Jul 25 - Aug 6, 2022. The event is organized by the Aeronautical Union of Serbia on behalf of the FAI. The registration is open. All participants are requested to fill in the online registration form by themselves.

The maximum number of pilots in the championship is 150. There is no maximum number of pilots that may be entered by a NAC.  The maximum number of pilots constituting a national team is 5 total and 4 of one gender. The eligibility criteria are set in accordance with Section 7 of FAI Sporting Code. 

The organizers of the European XC Paragliding Championship in Nic, Serbia have requested that they be allowed to increase the entry fee for this event from 480 Euros to 540 Euros.  The event was originally scheduled for 2020 but had to be postponed due to Covid.  The organizers incurred significant costs in preparing for the event in 2021, including returning all entry fees that had been paid, despite the costs associated with the 2020 cancelled event.  These additional costs have increased the overall budget for the event.  With this in mind, the CIVL Bureau has agreed to allow this small increase in registration fees.
